How our vacuum tank superstructures are made: The special RAC-Germany® "Low-Torsion Body Mounting System" for our tank bodies is well-known for strongness and torsion-resistance at off-road operation in extrem difficult and rough conditions. The elastic connection between the truck chassis and the sub-frame of our superstructure provides an extreme torsion-absorbing function. The sub-frame is mounted to the truck main frame in a way to ensure equal load distribution. Usually our sub-frames are hot-dip galvanized but can also be supplied in tuck chassis colour.
